Planning, operations, commercialization at the messy edge of innovation.

Today I run Nomadic Foundry, helping technology get from idea into real use across the built environment, infrastructure, maritime, and logistics. Climate and resilience cut across all of it.

Twenty-five years building and scaling products, ventures, and partnerships in domains that are hard to commercialize. Most recently venture building and partnerships at SeaAhead. Before that, scaling Pupil’s digital-twin platform. Earlier, building a geospatial analytics capability at McKinsey.

I think in data. Machine learning, computer vision, and geospatial systems have shaped how I plan and decide since well before they were common.

Challenge

Pupil needed to evolve from early-stage digital-twin tech into a scalable global platform for built-environment insights.

Approach

Led commercialization across new markets, defining go-to-market pathways, partnerships, and a multi-geography scaling strategy.

Result

Enabled rapid expansion and market credibility, positioning the platform for global enterprise adoption.

Digital Reality Corp

Challenge

Digital Reality Corp (DRC) had developed an innovative process for rapidly capturing and digitizing real estate and was looking to scale and expand the offering into commercial real estate, construction, and asset management, and explore applications beyond property marketing in residential real estate.

Approach

Worked closely with pilot clients to test, standardize and scale methodologies for commercial real estate. Supported the establishment of operational benchmark, approaches to measurement standards in different geographies, and client delivery.

Result

Stak - the commercial product scaled rapidly to multi-family developments, commercial real estate transactions, building retrofits and decarbonization. The early success in London paved the way for adoption in the UAE, Singapore, and the USA.
